Root Beer Floats

Can anyone explain to me why you would need a recipe for a root beer float?  It's ice cream & root beer, not much to it.  Did you know that there are HUNDREDS of recipes for root beer floats?  All of them are pretty much the same.  Root beer & ice cream in a glass. Just wondering what kind of idiot needs a recipe for that.

    Nope, I don't think I mentioned it. I meant to, but never got around to it. Thanks for stopping by! :D Oh, and Southern Comfort sounds like an excellent addition to a root beer float. Captain Morgans might be good, too. I might have to try it. :D

    I remember pouring the S.C. in the root beer once and it was really good, but actually I did a Jack & Coke float several times. Also really good on a wicked hot day. Not that you have any of those eh? :D
