Sorry, didn't mean to disappear again. I spent the day in Olympia with my sister yesterday. She lives in Portland, so it's about an hour drive for me & 1 1/2 for her. We got our hair done & had dinner. It was very nice. I didn't get home till pretty late, though.
Today I've been trying to catch up on the housework that didn't get done yesterday. Gotta do laundry so I have clean clothes for work tomorrow. Hope everyone else is having a good weekend! :)
Sounds like you had a nice time away Jen. I did that with my Sister a few weeks ago.... it was long over due
ReplyDeleteLMAO spent the day in Olympia... sounds funny. Like you were up on some cloud with Zeus, Apollo and Aphrodite. Columns, olive branches, ambrosia... hah! Sounds like a good time anyway Jen! Don't do too much housework, isn't that what kids are for?
ReplyDeleteYeah, if I could convince them to do it. I have given them kitchen duty & now I never have any clean dishes.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if it's being too extreme but I'd make them set the table and see if they set it with dirty dishes. Then clean yours and your husband's, and serve theirs on dirty ones. Show them the value of a clean plate. Wait till they're at the table and see if they freak when the food comes toward their plate with the gunk from yesterday on it. Of course, that's just me. I'd probably end up raising kids that would murder me in my sleep before they're six. :D
